|
Islamic Museum Ibn Touloun Mosque,
Tombs of Mamluks &Anderson Museum
Drive to the Islamic Museum which contains the largest collection of Moslem artistic pieces in history. Then proceed to the tombs of the Mamluks and continue to Ibn Touloun Mosque in the north of Iraq. Visit next the beautiful Gayer Anderson Museum.

| Sailing on the Nile |
|
A sailing boat trip around the Gyizerah, Island, is one of the most romantic trips in Cairo to admire the beauty of the sunset or the moonlight. This tour takes about one hour.
For groups this tour can be arranged by Motor-BoatsAt 13.30 a drive along the cornice to Montazah Palace of ex-King Farouk. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
At 18.30 departure to Cairo.

Early evening drive to the Pyramids to attend the performance (about 45 minutes) during which science and art are combined. While the Pyramids are flooded by powerful lights, the Sphinx breaks the silence and tells the fascinating story of the Pharaohs accompanied with musical background.

| Cairo by Night |
|
Leave about 10P.M. driving along the Nile, around Gyizerah Island and through the main streets of Cairo. Then visit one of the best Night clubs where oriental dances and music are the main attraction. A drink or a refreshment will be offered. At the end of the floor show (around 2 A.M.) return to hotel.

| Fayoum |
|
Excursion to the Oasis of Fayoum &Lake Karoun. A Fertile Oasis on the Westen Desert. Departure about 9A.M. passing through the villages of Gyiza, Hawamdeiah, Badrashein, El Ayat and across Bahr Youssef which irrigates the whole region, then across the desert to El-Fayoum which is reached about mid-day, visit Madinet El Fayoum the Labyrinth of Hawara and lake Karoun, then proceed to the Auberge du lac on the shore of Lake Karoun (10 miles south of Fayoum) for lunch. On the return via desert road enjoy the striking beauty of an incomparable sunset.

| Suez Canal |
|
Depart Cairo to Suez via the desert road, arriving at Suez on arrival, a tour of the city viewing the Suez Canal and the ships passing through. Lunch well be served at a local restaurant. Departure to Cairo via the same desert road.

| Wadi Natrun Monasteries |
|
Leave Cairo at 8 A.M. via the desert road to Alexandria, short stop (half way 122 Kms) at the Rest House then to Wadi (Valley) Natrun, 10 Kms further, going through kafr Daoud Village and coast along many salted lakes. Of the 10 monasteries there are only are only four left which will be visited, the Anba Beshay monastery, the biggest and most beautiful, dating back to the 4th century. Then proceed on foot to a the st. (John Kame) Known as Dier El Sourian Monastery built in the 9th century, it is the most important in the Valley, with its 12 meter high walls and its wainscots full of inscriptions. After a visit to them, proceed back to the Rest House for lunch then return to hotel.

| Alexandria |
|
Leave in the morning to Alexandria to reach there about 11 A.M. visit the Greaco-Roman Museum which houses 40.000 valuable relics. Then visit Pompeys pillar, a huge great pillar standing among the ruins of the Serapeum Temple. The catacomb of Kom El –Shokafa located near the port. They are three tiers and are curved out of the rock at a depth of 100 feet. The Mosque of Abu El-Abbas El Morsi, one of the Islamic relics of the city.
At 13.30 a drive along the cornice to Montazah Palace of ex-King Farouk. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
At 18.30 departure to Cairo.
